Bantwal, March 23: Three members are critical and six persons have been injured seriously in a serial accident which occurred between three vehicles at Kalladka here on the evening of Sunday, March 22nd.
After attending a programme near Puttur, a family from Shaktinagar, Mangaluru was returning back home in a Maruti Omni vehicle when it crashed head on to an auto rickshaw at Kalladka.
Later, the Omni went crisscross which fell on its side by the side of the road. The Omni also collided to a bike that was moving behind the auto rickshaw, injuring a couple and their child who were travelling by the bike. As an impact of the accident, the child was thrown off to the road and is in critical state, it is learnt.
Among the persons who were travelling by the Maruti Omni vehicle, three persons were injured and a woman among them is in critical state. Ashraf from Kalpane in Bolantoor was seriously injured on his leg.
Initially, all the injured were admitted into a local hospital, and later those who were in serious condition were taken to Mangaluru for advanced treatment.
