Ullal, March 24: As the warnings to the visitors at the Ullal beach went unfruitful, next month during the Ullal Uroos, visitors should be banned from visiting Ullal beach after 7pm in the evening and cleanliness factor ought to be prioritised, were the demands placed during the meeting organized on Sunday at Ullal Darga with the participation of public’s from all walks of life, and the political leaders; as part of the Ullal Sayyed Madeni Darga Uroos which is scheduled next month.
Health and Family Welfare Minister U T Khader said, steps have been taken to complete the road works immediately. Uroos is a matter of pride for the Ullal residents, but the nature of the visitors who arrive for the Uroos is unpredictable. Hence it is crucial for the Police Department as well as the people to remain peaceful.
The co-operation of all is needed for the success of Urus celebration, opined Chandrahas Ullal, President of Ullal Shree Cheerumbha Bhagavati Theeya Seva Samaj.
Work on erecting sea erosion barriers is in progress. Lot of visitors are visiting the beach here who are not aware of the swelling of the sea by evening. In this regard, beach visit should be banned after 7pm, opined Sadananda Bangera, president of Ullal Mogaveera Sangha.

- Inform the Police Department even about the petty incidents. The department is a part of the society, if the publics lose faith over the police, then it is difficult to maintain peace and order. The Department has arranged for video recording at important places, the Darga has to appoint the private parties for it. Arrangements are done to install 200 CC cameras-Murugan, Commissioner of Police, Mangaluru.
