Kapu, April6: Life guards at Kapu Beach thwarted attempt to suicide which took place in the afternoon on Sunday.
Imanulla, aged 37-years son of Hassain Saab, resident of Hosanagara, Shimogga tried to commit suicide by jumping into the water near Kapu Lighthouse.
Due to the swift action of lifeguards, tragic death was prevented.
It is leant that; Imanulla is married who is the father of four children.
