Mangaluru, April 29: Lakumi cene creations much awaited Tulu movie “Ekkasaka“ produced by Lion Kishor D Shetty, founder of the renowned theatre artists team Lakumi artists, Mangaluru, Lalithe artists and leads group of companies; will hit the silver screens on May 1stin eleven theatres across the coastal district, informed the producer of the movie Lion Kishor D Shetty in a press meet.
Addressing a press meet in hotel Ocean Pearl here, he said, Lion Chandrahas Shetty and Lion Girish Shetty are the co-producers. The movie is scripted and directed by K Suraj Shetty who holds the expertise of working with many Kannada movie directors. Alternative to Kannada word “Samrudda” in Tulu is “Ekkasaka”. Ekkasaka Tulu movie comprises of Ekkasaka artists, he said.
Hitesh Nak and Sonal Monterio from Mangaluru play the lead roles while famed artists of Mangaluru namely Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Sunder Rai Mandara, Sathish Bandale, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu, Prasanna Bailuru, Shobha Raj Pavoor, Harish Vasu Shetty, Raghavendra Rai, Umanath Kotian, Chaitra Shetty, Ravi Suratkal, Pradeep Alwa, Jayasheela, Mohan Koppala, Gokul Kadri, Chidananda Dubai, and famous artists of Kananda film industry Achyuta Rao, Tennis Krishna, Sudha Belavady, Padmaja Rao, Shobha Rai, Kavitha Rai and bollywood actress Shwetha Sahrma and others have played their roles, he said.
Music is directed by “Ugram” famed Ravi Basruru and veteran photographer of Kananda film industry Krishan Sarathy has wonderfully exhibited his talents in the movie. KR Lingaraju who has composed for various movies acted by Kichha Sudeep has composed this movie. Sound technology is handled by Hulivana Nagraj who is the permanent sound engineer for actor Ravichandran’s movie. Graphics by Pranav Leo who had worked for Tamil super hit movie Kochadiaan along with Mumbai and Bengaluru experts have done the various works of the cinema. Choreographed by Dhanu Kumar, co-director Mayur R Shetty has written the lyrics for the songs. Vasanth Amin and DBC Shekhar have written two songs.
Movie has six songs. Famed singers of Kananda film industry Chandan Shetty, Anuradha Bhat, Santhosh Venky, Sinha, singer of Telgu Cinema- Race Gurram has given his voice for a song.
Along with these singers, renowned young entrepreneur of Dubai as well as renowned background singer Harish Sherigar and Akshata Rao Dubai have sung for the movie. Assistant directors are Dinaker Shetty and Mohan Koppala Kadri. Devi Rai who has worked for publication design of various Kannada and Tulu movies has also worked for this movie.
Overall, this movie Ekkasaka along with love comprises of comedy and full of entertainment, explained Kishor D Shetty.
Simultaneously released in 11 theatres:
“Ekkasaka” Tulu cinema will be simultaneously released in various theatres such as Mangaluru’s Jyothi, Big Cienmas, PVR, Cienepolis, Udupi-Kalpana, Manipal-Inox, Moodbidri-Amarashree, Karkala-Radhika, B C Road-Nakshatra, Puttur-Aruna, and Belthagady –Bharat on May 1st.
The movie release program is scheduled to be held in Jyothi theatre at 9.00 am on May 1st. On this occasion, various dignitaries from the cinema, theatre, and cultural field will participate, informed Kishor D Shetty.
Producers Lion Chandrahas Shetty, Lion Girish Shetty, movie director Sooraj Shetty gave additional information about the movie. Co-director Mayur R Shetty, artists Naveen D Padil, Bhojraj Vamanjoor, Aravind Bolar, movie hero Hithesh Nayak, heroin Sonal Monterio and entrepreneur, Prakash Pandeshwar of Jayakiran firm and others were present in the press meet.
