Mangaluru, May 22: There is shocking news for those who are waiting for the construction of new bus stand in BC Road which will be built at a estimated cost of Rs 7.5 crores.

This bus stand will be beneficial for commuters who move from BC Road to Mangaluru. Those moving from BC Road to Puttur, Dharmasthala, Uppinangady, Vitla, Bengaluru, and Mysuru have to depend on the highway.

The reason behind this is that the land which is marked for the construction of the new bus stand is situated to the left of BC Road-Mangaluru highway, and also is at the edge of the fly-over.

Due to this the buses arriving from Mangaluru face difficulty in entering this bus stand. In this view, for now keeping in mind of the commuters to Mangaluru the works of the bus stand will be begun, informed the KSRTC officials.

BC Road town is near to the district headquarters Mangaluru. This town mainly links Mangaluru with various cities such as Bengaluru, Mysuru, Puttur, Dharmasthala, Vitla, and Uppinangady. Many people travel to these cities from BC Road. At present, the people who move to these places wait for the buses by the side of the highway in BC Road. As the highway is the bus stop at present, now even the buses stop at that point. Hopes have gone that the problem will be resolved after the construction of the new bus stand.
