Mangaluru, July 4: The winners of Tulu literary competitions conducted by Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, was distributed the prizes in a befitting program held at the academy office here on Friday, July 3rd.
Competitions were organized on various topics such as essay, poetry, story, and humour write-ups. In each category, first, second, third and five consolation prizes were given.
On this occasion, the 66th special issue of ’Madipu’ magazine was released by Kallur Nagesh, proprietor of Akriti Printers.
The prize details are as follows:
Poetry : I – Shimantur Chandrahas Suvarna,
II – Mahesh S Suvarna,
III – Suchitra Devadiga
Consolation prizes : Yashoda Mohan, Poovappa Neralakatte, Manjula Shetty, Vasanti Shetty Brahmavar and Vanajakshi P.

III – P Ramkrishna Shastry and Sharada A Anchan.

The first, second, third and consolation prizes amount were Rs 2000, Rs 1500, Rs 1000 and Rs 500 respectively, along with the certificate.
