Mangaluru, August 21: Due to short circuit, a house caught fire in Amrithnagar near Vamanjoor, outskirts of Mangaluru on Friday August 21st.
The house belongs to Koosamma.
Locals who noticed the smoke emanating from the house, informed the fire brigade personnel.
As there was no proper road in the area, fire brigade vehicle took more time to reach the spot in time. The house was partially damaged by the time the fire personnel reached the spot. Fire personnel finally subsided the fire.
Luckily no one was in the house when the incident occurred.
It is gathered that there are many houses in Amrithnagar, but as there is no proper road to reach these houses, it is very difficult for the fire service or any other vehicles to reach the place in time during any disaster.
