Mangalore,Aug.23: MLA JR Lobo on Saturday laid foundation stone for the construction and renovation of Under ground Drainage system at an estimated cost of Rs 28 Lakhs near Shree Muthappan Temple in Railway colony in th city.
MLA said that the additional fund of Rs. 25 lakhs required to complete the entire UGD lane in th area will be sanctioned in th next stage. Earlier, work on the UGD costing Rs. 10 lakhs was complete, he said.
He also promiaed to grant fund to lay interlocks in the premises of premises.
Besides, Lobo hailed the initiative by AC Vinayraj in developing Sanyasi Gudda mud road into a complete concrete road and also the court road.
