Mangaluru, August 29: Tulunada Rakshana Vedike will stage an intense protest against the controversial Yettinahole project implemented by the state government informed the chief of the association M G Hegde.
He informed this in a press meet organized at the Tulunada Rakshana Vedike office here on Friday, August 28th. He also spoke on the future plans of the association against the Yettinahole project.
Tulunada Rakshana Vedike founder chairman Yogish Shetty Jeppu speaking on this occasion said, the government is playing with the sentiments of people who have a strong bonding with river Netravathi. We are preparing to make the state government to feel the heat of the protest, he said.
He added that, prayers will be offered on August 31st at Mangaladevi temple, Hazrath Syedani Beebi Darga and Rozario Church for the success and for the subdual of the officers and peoples representatives who make cunning plans for the implementation of this project.
In the press meet, Haji k Muneer Bava, Hassan Maduru, Jyotika Jain, Mohandas Rai and others were present.
