Mangaluru, August 29: An auto driver was reportedly found murdered inside his parked auto-rickshaw at Natekal under Ullal police limits here on Saturday August 29th.
The deceased is identified as Hidayath (28), a resident of Alekal.
It is suspected that Hidayath might have been murdered on the night of Friday August 28th.
It is gathered that Hidayath left from home in his auto at around 8.30 pm on Friday, but did not return home later. On Saturday late morning, he was found dead in his auto rickshaw at Natekal. It is suspected that Hidayath might have been hit with a boulder and a rod on the head.
Hidayath operates auto rickshaw in Thokkottu area.
ACP Kalyan Shetty, SI Bharati along with other police personnel and forensic experts visited the spot and investigated.
It can be recalled here of the recent incident in which an auto rickshaw driver was found dead inside his parked rickshaw in Vamanjoor.
