Mangaluru, September 21: The grand immersion procession of the idol of Lord Ganesh during the 43rd public Shree Ganeshotsav organized by the public Shree Ganeshotsav Samithi Kulshekar, Mangaluru was witnessed on the night of Saturday, September 19th.
On the same occasion, grand immersion procession of the Idol of lord Ganesh installed by DK Co-operative milk producers union (KMF- Nandini) on the occasion of 29th public Shree Ganeshotsav celebrations took place.
The procession of idol of Lord Ganesh worshipped by public Shree Ganeshotsav Samithi Kulshekar passed through Bikarnakatte, till Nantur Padavu School and was returning on the same way to be released at the pond of Shree Anantapadmanabha Temple in Kudupu.
Meanwhile, the procession of the Idol of Lord Ganesh installed by the Mangaluru Dairy had also arrived in the opposite direction near Karnataka Bank in Kulshekar. The devotees had a wonderful chance to get the glimpse of the two processions.
In the processions of the two Samithi’s, Tiger Dance tableaux, Nasik Band, Chende, dolls and other various teams had participated.
