Mangaluru, October 14: Pramod Muthalik, the Sri Rama Sene chief on Wednesday October 14th arrived to the court for attending the hearing of the 2009 pub attack case.

Speaking to the media representatives during his visit to the city, Pramod Muthalik condemned the recent murder of flower vendor and Bajrang Dal activist Prashant Poojary that took place recently in Moodbidri and said that tomorrow he would visit the house of Prashant Poojary. It was a ghastly murder committed in the early morning and Sri Rama Sene condemns this murder. Murderers are getting support due to the anti-Hindu policies of the Karnataka government. This incident is a clear example, he said.

On the issue of farmers committing suicide, Muthalik said, not only Congress, but no party is concerned about the farmers. All parties are shedding crocodile tears for vote bank.

About the incident that took place at Dadri in Uttar Pradesh where a man was lynched to death on rumours of storing beef, he said, Dadri lynching was a small incident. One cannot say murder should not happen there, but it has been hyped. This is a planned strategy to attack on Hindutva, he said.

Regarding the ink attack on the face of Sudheendra Kulkarni by Shiv Sena activists in Mumbai for participating in former Pakistan foreign minister Khurshid Kasrui’s book launch, Muthalik praised the Shiv Sena and said, I support Shiv Sena’s action. First think of the reason behind it instead of making this an issue. Bomb blasts took place in Mumbai and innocent people lost their lives and Pakistan was behind the blasts. Even the government has proved this and evidence has been given to Pakistan. Also, Pakistan is killing our soldiers at the border. So what do we gain by having business, music or sports ties with Pakistan? What kind of policy is this? The Shiv Sainiks have done a good job, he said.
