He said, the Dakshina Kannada district BJP urges the chief minister and the home minister to order CBI probe into the Prahsanth Poojary murder case. Continuous attacks have been taking place on Hindu activists and leaders in Dakshina Kannada form many months, but the Karnataka state government and the district in-charge minister are remaining silent on the issue. This gives rise to suspicions that the government is supporting these attacks. The district in-charge minister should have visited Prashanth’s family. No MLA or Congress leader has visited the house of Prashanth Poojary, he said.

He said, the Karnataka government should give Rs 25 lakhs for Prashant’s family. The district BJP along with Prashanth’s family will meet the governor and demand CBI enquiry into the case, he informed.

In the press meet, Kishore Rai, Kasturi Panja, and others were present.
