Mangaluru, November 2: Minister Abhaychandra Jain speaking to reporters at Chikkamagaluru on Sunday November 1st, has questioned why should others expect him to visit the house of Prashanth Poojary, a flower vendor from Moodbidri, who was recently murdered.
In response to the criticisms passed against him by leaders of Hindu association and BJP leaders about not having visited the family of Prashanth Poojary after his murder, he queried whether people also expect him to visit the house of underworld element Ravi Poojary, when he expires. Minister said, I have no problems about visiting houses of common people. But, why would I visit the house of a miscreant after his death? More than 20 cases had been registered against Prashanth Poojary in local police station. There is a possibility that he might be murdered due to enmity, but I have nothing do with his murder, the minister said.
