Mangaluru, November 24:Robbers decamped with Rs 75,000 and a laptop from Our Lady of Mercy Church at Fajir here on the night of Monday November 23rd.
The thieves entered the church by breaking open the main door. A laptop, Rs 75,000 from offering box and some other items have been stolen, it is learnt.
On Tuesday morning when the priest came to the church, this theft came to light.
The footages of thieves have been captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the church premises. According to the CCTV images, the robbery took place at around 1.30 am.
A case has been registered by Konaje police and investigations are underway.
