Bengaluru, December 10: As per reports, a youth who was caught for drunken driving in Majestic area of the city, tried to escape from the police by making a false claim that he was the nephew of State Health Minister U T Khader.
According to the reports, the youth riding his bike was stopped by the Chickpet police for drunken driving. The youth in order to escape, told the police that he was the nephew of Health Minister. The police, who grew suspicious about his claim, sent him away after seizing his bike.
The minister who got this information immediately informed the police that his nephew was studying in Mangaluru and has no nephew studying in Bengaluru and has asked the police to take actions against the youth as per law.
