Mangaluru, December 11: In the wake confusions regarding the tickets for upcoming MLC elections, great dissatisfactions have aroused in congress. Pertaining to this matter, Harikrishna Bantwal called a press meet on Friday, December 11th, and expressed his opinions.
No one knows about the fact that who framed the congress party in the district. For those who came from somewhere else and for those who do not have any knowledge on politics are given the chance to contest from the party and the ones who have continuously worked in the party are being neglected. When the party is in a bad state, only then the sincere workers will be remembered, said Harikrishna Bantwal expressing dissatisfaction.
The party has given tickets to Pratap Chandra who denied entering into politics. When he was in service, there is no instance where he has visited any gram panchayat. We asked to provide tickets to those who work. Harikrishna clarified that he has already given the nomination and there is no question of taking it back.
I have not contested in desire of the position. I have not worked for gaining any benefit from the party till now. I have not taken any remuneration for working for the party. But this time I am contesting in order to stop the injustice being done to the sincere workers of the party, said Harikrishna Bantwal.
