Bengaluru/Mangaluru, December 15: KPCC president G Parameshwar has announced that, three persons who have contested against the party’s candidates for the MLC elections have been expelled from the party.

Congress on Monday expelled rebel candidates, Jayaprakash Hegde, Harikrishna Bantwal and sitting MLC B T Dayananda Reddy from the party for six years.

The Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had confirmed about this, just today morning. Speaking to reporters after an official function on “Minimum Government, Maximum Governance,” at Vikas Soudha in Bengaluru, chief minister Siddarmaiah made it clear that the party would not tolerate indiscipline. Dayananda Reddy who is contesting as an independent from Bengaluru Urban, J P Hegde and Harikrishna Bantwal are contesting as independent candidates from Dakshina Kannada constituency, will be expelled from the party, he said.

In Dharwad, two candidates from the party are made two contest for the polls, he said.
