Mangaluru, December 16: Thieves burgled a mobile shop in front of the Service bus stand here and fled with items worth Rs four lakhs.
Shop named City electronics situated in Al-Ansar towers located near the Maidan road was burgled. Thieves broke the cement sheet covered as roofing for the building and made a five feet wide hole and entered into the shop.
142 new mobile phone sets kept inside the show case, old mobile phone sets, LCD TV, service mobile sets, 348 watches, cash Rs 10,000, recharge amount Rs 12,000, DVD player and home theatre was stolen by the thieves.
A case has been registered at the Mangaluru North police station.
