Kundapur, December 18: A young bike rider was killed on spot in a tanker and a bike accident on the National Highway-66 in Kambadakone near Byndoor here on the evening of Thursday December 17th.
The deceased youth is Prabhakar Devadiga (25), a resident of Bijoor.
It is learnt, the accident occurred when Prabhakar was riding on a bike to Nagoor from Bijoor, a tanker moving from Kundapur to Bhatkal collided head–on into his bike. Prabhakar was thrown on to the road and suffered serious injuries and expired on the spot.
The bike was completely damaged after the accident.
Prabhakar was working as a fitter in a showroom. He was riding to work after having lunch at home when the accident took place.
Byndoor police inspected the spot and registered a case.
