Mangaluru, December 22: A cement mixer lorry on Monday, December 21st fell into a ditch after its driver lost the control over the vehicle. This incident happened in Kaneerthota near Kolya on National Highway-66.
When the driver of the lorry moved the vehicle backwards, rear tyres of the lorry slipped into the ditch. As a result the front portion of the lorry moved up. Luckily no one was injured in the incident.
The lorry was lifted up using the help of cranes.
The lorry belongs to Navyug Company which has taken the contract for road work of NH 66.
