Mangaluru, December 29: Two persons died due to accidental electrocution at the Industrial area on the night of Monday, December 28th.
The deceased are identified as Narayana from Adyar and Balakrishna from Yeyyadi.
It is gathered that Narayana and Balakrishna were working as labourers in Ratna Automobile Company situated in Baikampady Industrial area.
On the night of Monday, Narayana and Balakrishna with the help of a long Iron rod, tried to remove tender coconut from a coconut tree situated in the premises of the factory. At that instant, the iron rod accidentally came in contact with the electric transmission wire that had passed above. As a result the two collapsed on the ground after they suffered electric shock and expired.
A case in this regard has been registered in Panambur police station.
