Mangalore,Dec.31: ‘Avalanche Breakdown’ has won the title as ‘Best musical band’ of Mangaluru after winning Central Battle of Bands grand finale held in Forum Fiza Mall by Central.
The event was judged by producer, director and ‘Rock on’ actor Luke Kenny &Supratik Ghosh, Founder & Lead Singer – Aurko. The winning band ‘Avalanche Breakdown’ received Best Band of the City Award along with a cash prize worth Rs. 50,000.Followed by Runners up ‘The unknown’ won fashion wardrobe worth Rs 10,000 from Central.
This music based initiative saw vibrant and budding college bands, professional bands and corporate bands competing to make their way through towards the “best band of city” award.Auditions were held to select the final seven bands that have made it to the Grand Finale.
