Mangalore: Karnatka Dalitha Sangarsha Samiti urges that Mangalore, Kenjar airport has recognized in the international level, hence government should keep constitution sculptor Dr B R Ambedkar’s name to the new airport.
Addressing the media person Karnatka Dalitha Sangarsha Samiti state organization coordinator M. Devdas said that dalits, backward community and minority community has left their hundred acres of land for airport construction purpose and for development of the district. Hence government should keep Dr B R Ambedkar’s name for airport and samiti will request the government in this regard, he said.
Karnataka Rajya Dalitha Sangharsha Samiti district organization cordinator R C Ameen, Udupi- Mangalore section covener Shekar Hejamadi, District convener Raghu K Ekkaru, District unit convener Shekar Chilimbi and District working unit member Padmakshi were present.
