Mangalore, August 2: Member of Parliament Nalin Kumar Kateel inaugurated the annual feast of Bondel St Laurence Church by hoisting the flag at its premises, here on Friday 2.
On Thursday, religious people day was celebrated and father Victor Machado performed the rituals.
As part of the annual celebration, 9 days Novena will be held from August 1 at 6 pm, hence he burn the 9 candle on Friday.
The annual celebration will be held on August 10.
Fr Andrew D’Souza, parish priest of Bondel Church, Fr Patrick Sequeira, assistant parish priest, vice-president Rudolph Pinto, secretary Reginald D’Souza, Stany Alvares, corporators Akhila Alva, Harinath, Kavitha Sanil, Mahabala Marla, Deepak Poojary were present among others.
