ABVP urges release of student Ranjith

Mangalore, August 5: Akhila Bharatha Vidyarthi Parishad carried protest march urging to take back the imposed false harassment case on Uppinangadi first grade college B.com student Ranjith, here on Monday August 5.

The protest was carried from Jyothi circle to in front DC office by shouting the slogans.

Addressing the gathering city secretary Yathish Kumar said that politicians playing a cunning role to break the ABVP’s domination, but it won’t effect to ABVP. The students who are in the ABVP are influenced from Bharatha Matha, Indian culture and Vivekananda’s ethics and idealism. It is not running under the guidance of politicians. Ranjith must be released, otherwise ABVP will intensify a serious movement, he said.

Student leader Shubha and State secretary Ramesh K urged to release the Ranjith.

The protest concluded with submitting a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner.

City organising secretary Mahipal B. K, city secretary Chethan, Ashwath K P T, Jairaj, Agneya, Nithin and others were present among others.
