Karkala; August 13: Students of Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya memorial Mahavidhyalaya have decided to celebrate the Independence Day in a unique style by preparing sand pictures.
With the main purpose of highlighting the specialty of the drawings by uniting youths, there around 800 engineering students under the direction Shreenath, sand drawing expert, Manipal, it has been decided to prepare sand pictures in Nitte college outdoor stadium admeasuring around 11,500 sq.feet open area.
Under the leadership of Vishwanath,assistant professor, humanity department and Vineeth Bangera,final year computer engineering student, this programme will be held and along with 60 minutes patriotic songs and with the co-operation of lecturers and non-lecturers sand pictures will be prepared said Principal of the college in his release.
