Mangalore, August 15: A well known Photo Journalist Dayananda Kukkaje has been arrested for sexual abuse case by the Pandeshwar Police based on a college girl’s complaint here on August 14.
He was working as photographer in famous website, however at 9 pm he was arrested from his office and FIR has filed against him. Now he is in the judicial custody.
Face book friendship: The complainant has belonged to Christian community and she has said that they were known each other through face book, later, it turned to love. By giving marriage assurance he took her to his apartment and also took bare body photos. When, she tried to drop the relationship, he tried to black male her by showing her naked photos, she alleged.
‘At first he gave the assurance of marriage, but later by using the chance several times he sexually harassed her’, said Assistant Commissioner Kavitha B. T to media.
Dayananda Kukkaje alleged that some photographers are jealous of my development especially a website’s women photographer and other two co- photographers. Regarding that he is going to fight in a legal manner, Says website, where Daya was working.
