Kundapur; August 20: 30 villages have been added to Kundapur mobile police station jurisdiction and Kumbhashi-Hemmadi highway in order to improve the quality of the service rendered by the mobile police department. The directive too this effect ,has been implemented from 19th August and henceforth all the complaints with regard to traffic related accidents will be registered at Kundapur mobile police station jurisdiction only unlike in the past, all the village accidents complaints were being registered at Kundapur main police station by their law and order department.
Besides accidents instances, vehicle checking, the responsibility of checking the drivers who drives the vehicle under the influence of alcohol etc will be allocated to the mobile police station jurisdiction.Due to this, urban police department will not face any problem and in urban areas, works will be carried out as usual.
Imran,deputy observer,Kundapur mobile police department said in his speech that now there are two deputy observers, one assistant observer and 37 employees in the department. So far we have not faced any problems and as per the circular with the co-operation of staff, we will carry out our assigned wrks,he said.
City police has been requesting the departments to transfer some of the village accidents cases to mobile police department and circular has been received and accordingly 30 villages from the taluk jurisdiction have been included within the jurisdiction of Kundapur.
