Manipal; August 22: In a new twist to the Manipal gang rape of university student case earlier this year, a charge sheet has been filed against three main accused along with two supporters who tried to destroy the evidence on August 22, Thursday by Manipal Police inspector Sadananda Tippanwar before Udupi court.
The charge sheet has been filed against the main accused namely Yogish, Hariprasad and Anand along with Harindra and Balachandra.The police have submitted the forensic report, which can be a vital evidence in the case.
All the five accused will be lodged in judicial custody until August 26.The hearing will begin soon as per the sources.
