Mangalore, August 25: Regarding the demand to construct the hospital in the Kateel premises, Health and Family welfare minister U. T Khader said that cooperation will be given to construct the hospital. There is no project about the hospital till 2014, but in the stage first preference will be given to the Kateel by allowing the proper land. Kateel identified as paper less religious centre and same project will follow in the Wenlock hospital also, he said.
He was speaking after running the programme of golden chariot and inauguration of paperless office.
Youth service and fisheries minister K. Abhychndra jain presided over the function.
On the occasion Forest minister B. Ramanatha Rai handed over the gold to Udupi Swarna Jewellers owner Gujjadi Ramadas.
After running the Kudru development project urban development Minister Vianay Kumar Sorake stated to join the Kateel to greater Mangalore and said that MLAs cooperation needed to further development.
Former C.M D.v Sadananda Gowda, MLA Mohiyuddin Bava, Monappa Bhandary, Anantha Padmanabha Asranna, Hari Narayana Asranna were present among others.
The chariot will be built in the cost of 5 crore and 12kg gold, 200kg silver have been using for this and it will be the high chariot in the state with 14 ft.
