Beltangady, Septemebr 1: The Hindu organisation activists raided an illegal slaughter house at Kashipatna, Venur on Sunday, September 1.
The accused are identified as Shabbir, Lathif and hameed. The Shabir had been running an illegal slaughterhouse in the premises of his residence and on receiving information the Hindu organisation raided the spot. But UN fortunately, Lathif and Hameed managed to escape.
Venur police arrived at the spot and arrested Shabbir and also seized the chunks of meat in the packet weighing 5 kg, 1 kg, altogether 25kgs of meat.
Venur police registered a case.
