Mangalore, September 5: ‘The government has thought much about transfer of the teachers & in coming days government will take important decision to implement simple methods for the transfers said Health minister U.T Khader.
He was speaking after inaugurating the programme on the occasion of teachers day organised by Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, Public Education Department and city south zone teachers committee at Bunts hostel, he said that along with education to strengthen the students government has providing nutritious food project such as Ksheera Bhagya and iron power tablets. The district health teams formed in every side along with that, doctors, nurses will be appointed to make health test by visiting the every school through 2 teams each. If any problem found free health service will be given and Aarogya Sanjeevini project is formed to education and workers, he said.
P.G division dean Rameela Shekar said that rather than the education, students collect other information also and on this regard along with education, awareness programme must be formed. Due to lack of encouragement and confusion in the subject, students are committing suicide. The teachers are failing to provide proper education and they must play a role to take out the talent of students along with that must give the solution to problem, he said.
Corporate Ashok D.K presided over the function and on the occasion retired teachers were felicitated.
Regional education officer Rajalaxmi, Zilla Panchayat member Yashavanti Alwa, corporate Akhila Alwa and others were present.
