Mangalore, September 8: Urging to make the Tulu as legal language, Namma Tulu nadu trust (R) Mangalore, held Hakkottaya rally on Sturady from Jyothi circle to Deputy Commissioner Office.
In the Dakshina Kannada Tulu having 3000 years of history and it is a first independent language. Every religion people speak this and it contains script also. Hence, Tulu language must be announced as legal language, urging this Hakkottaya programme was held led by Tulunadu trust in front of D.C office.
Kateel temple priest Laxminarayana Asranna, Kannada Sahitya Parishat district president S. Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Darmadarshi Harikrishna Punaroor, Dinesh Rai Kadaba, Treasurer Vidyashree Rai and others were present.
