Karkala; Sept 22: A suicide case by consuming poison has been reported at Posarottu in Miyyar village on Sept 21, Saturday.
Sources said that the deceased identified as Suresh Shetty was in hotel business in Mumbai since several years and recently came to his native place and committed suicide by consuming poison out of frustration in life. The exact reason behind his suicide is not yet known.
The case has been registered in the Karkala town police station in this regard.
