Mangalore, Sep 25: District Superintendent of Police Abhishek Goyal has been transferred to Bangalore. He will be replaced by Shantanu Sinha.
The new SP is a 2009 batch IPS officer. Goyal has been posted as Lokayukta SP of Bangalore.
Shantanu Sinha who hails from New Delhi, is an engineer by qualification. After passing out the IPS exams, he served in Shimoga as a probationary officer and then as ASP of Channapatna sub-division in Ramanagaram district. He has even served as DCP (Law and Order) of Mysore.
