Mangalore, March 30, 2013: Several passengers travelling in a bus suffered injuries when the bus heading towards Shaktinagar overturned at Kalpane near Kulshekhar on March 30, Saturday.
The bus named ‘Ambika Travels was over speeding leading to the accident, eyewitnesses said. Driver Nandeesha (40) died and another 10 are ijured. Luckily many of the other passengers sustained minor injuries.
Sources said the speeding bus suddenly took to the left when the driver lost control over the vehicle which eventually overturned.
The injured passengers have been admitted to hospitals in the city. A large crowd has gathered at the accident spot.
Kadri police have rushed to the spot.
