Karkala; Oct 02: An annual general body meeting of Yennehole milk producers Sangha was held on Thursday at Yennehole Ganesh temple premises.
Sangha’s President Sandeep Shetty has presided over the function and said in his speech that for the progress of the Sangha, contribution of all the members is equally important.
Government is supporting and encouraging the production of dairy products by way of giving financial support and farmers should try to reap the benefits out of it, he said.
The people who have supplied more milk to the sangha during the year and talented children of sangha’s members have been distributed special financial aid.
Dr Anil Kumar Shetty, Manipal Dairy medical officer, Satish Shetty, chief accountant were present as chief guests.
Panduranga Nayak, director of the sangha, Santhosh Shetty, Jagannatha Shetty, Krishna Nayak, Rajendra, Devanna Nayak and among others were present.
Balakrishna, teacher welcomed the gathering, Harini, Sangha’s asst.co-ordinator proposed a vote of thanks and secretary Asha compered the function.
