Kundapur; Oct 08: Acting on the correct information, the local residents attacked two vehicles carrying 5 cattles illegally to slaughtering house in Hearer village near Bheemanapade on Oct 07, Monday early morning.
It has been reported that three people have injured when the clash erupted between the two groups.
When Rizwan, Manzoor, both the residents of Halageri in Kamadakone village along with Shahil, Sameumulla, Junaid, all are the residents of Gangolli, a total of seven people were going towards Navunda from Herur in two vehicles Omni Maruti and Maruti Echo with five cattles in it, the locals attacked the vehicles and cattles have been taken under their custody and later informed to Byndoor Police station.
Injured have been identified as Mohammed Rizwan, Manzoor and Sameumulla during the clash. They have been admitted to Kundapur private hospital.
Kundapur DYSP, C.B.Patil, circle inspector Sadashiva M, along with Sunil Kumar M.S.Gangolli, official from Bayndoor police station, Sampath Kumar, police officer arrived to the spot and examined the situation.
A case has been registered in police station in this regard.
Rizwan in his counter complaint in Byndoor police station alleged that after paying money to Puttanna of Herur village, we were plying towards Gangolli carrying 5 cattles in our vehicles, we were attacked by Gunda,Suresh,Manju,Shivaraya,Bhoja,Raghu,Manjunatha,Manju Maski,Venkatu,Bhaskar,Raju Nayak and Shekar at Kenji and completely damaged our vehicles.
