Dr. Veerendra Hegde inaugurates 101st Annual Dasara Celebration of Kudroli Temple

Mangalore, Oct.10: The 101^st annual celebration of Kudroli Shri Gokarnanatha Temple and Mangalore Dasara 2013 grandly inaugurated by Rajarshi Dr. D. Veerendra Hegde, Dharmadhikari, Shri Khsetra Dharmasthala today on Oct. 10 Thursday.

In his inaugural speech he said that India is famous all over the world because of its religion not of its wealth. After independence the main change appeared in India that is equality for every people in every field he said.

Speaking about Kudroli temple he said if any one comes to Mangalore, they will definitely visit to Kudroli Temple. There may be rich people in the city but they can’t construct a rich building like this temple. Temple means Sanidya, there is a vibration in that. When we go temple it will make us to forget any things so it is called as sanidhya. In Kudroli we can feel that vibration he said.

Veerendra Hegde further said that in every good thing in our life we see goddesses in that, in this way we are honouring women. Devotion, patience and our religious thought will make us a perfect person. To give up our bad habits and for the goodness of our country we should worship god in Navaratri he added.

Farmer finance minister and the initiator of development committee of Kudroli Temple B. Janardhana Poojary preside over the function.

In his presidential address Poojary said that Mahathma Gandi served for the poor and become a role model to the world, in the same way Veerendra Hegde also serving his life for the society. In economic, education, development every field he worked for the society without any gratification in back. We are blessed with his presence.
