Banwal, Oct. 16: Dakshina Kannada DC visited to the solid waste processing unit constructing by Town council and inspect the work progress on Oct. 15 Tuesday.
As per the order of the Supreme Court the unit should be built on 2008, but against of the local panchayath, public and political reason the project was did not completed yet. Regarding to this Sajipanadu Gram Panchayath sent a notice to the Vidhana Soudha committee, as per the indication of the committee DC visited and inspect the unit.
The DC indicates the Thahashildar B.S. Malleswami to survey the place reserved for the unit and submit the report. As per the report DC will submit the report to house committee.
ZIlla panchayath chief executive officer Tulsi Maddineni, taluk panchayath executive Vishwanath Poojary, town councillor R. V. Jattanna were present.
