In the good intention of providing the health care (Aarogya seva Mahiti), the important service, the government has implemented 104-Aarogyavani project.
The people from rural villages, who cannot reach the hospital on time for treatment, to get medical advice from the qualified and experienced doctors through phone, 104-Aarogyavani would help.
Medical advice, confidential consultation,informations about service, facilities available, complaints against the health center or staff of the centre including the solutions for the problems of contagious diseases and common diseases like cough,cold,fever,loose motion, stomach ache,diabetics,pimples etc and its usage, this project will help the people.
Therefore people from any part of the state can contact 104 from their phone at no cost at all and avail the benefit of the newly introduced facility.
This facility is available 24 hours of the day and 365 days of the year. Ever since the inception of Aarogyavani facility, average of 2268 calls are being received per day and so far after receiving more than 80,000 calls suitable advices have been provided through Aarogyavani.
Therefor general public have been asked to come forward to avail the benefits of this newly implemented 104-Aarogyavani project by the government from health point of view, said health and family welfare commissioner .
