Mangalore, Oct. 30: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad(VHP) has condemned the Shaadi Bhagya Scheme introduced by the Government of Karnataka.
Speaking at the press meet held at here on Wednesday Oct. 30, the Divisional Seva Pramukh of VHP Dr. P Ananthakrishna said, the govt. implemented this scheme just to grab the Muslim votes.
By doing this the govt. has neglected the other minority communities. Just because the Muslim community is in large numbers among the minorities in the state, the Govt. has planned to grab their votes he added.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad also urged the government to extend the scheme to other communities.
VHP Karnataka province president MB Puranik, VHP District President Jagadish Shenava, Bhajarangdal divisional convener Sharan Pumpwel, Secretary Gopal Kutthar and others were present the occasion.
