Mangalore, Oct. 30: The two days IT Expo-IT Exhibition cum Sale organized by Mangalore IT dealers Association was inaugurated by former chief minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda at T.V.Raman Pai Hall on Friday, Nov.1st.
Addressing the programme he said that Bangalore already popularly known as IT city, now Mangalore also developing in that way. Such expo, exhibitions will help Mangalore to become IT city he added.
The earlier govt. organized a committee called Chidananda Murthy Committee to implement Kannada software n state business administrative. The committee has given the report and the present govt. should implement the report soon. Trough this Kannada software should reach the people of state as soon as possible Sadananda Gowda said.
He further said that English is must for the global communication, but we should have proud on our own language. In the year of 2012 – 2013 nearly 1.5 Crore software exported in state. In this regard we should try to expand IT companies in coastal areas.
BJP district spokesman Sathish Prabhu, Businessman Devananda Pai, president of the association Kethan Chandran, Arun Prabhu was present.
Vice president Sujay Monteiro, welcomed. Melwin Dayas host the programme.
