Mnagalore, Nov. 12: Demanding for fulfil all the needs of the Kankanady market the Kankanady Market Merchant Association appealed to DC and MCC administrative officer on Tuesday Nov. 12.
Their main demands are repair of market roof, inter lock to the outside of the toilet, supply of electricity, unlimited electricity bill and bus stand.
The roof of the market was so poor so that in the rainy season the market is fill with water. So the construction work should be done soon. In MLA J.R. Lobos visit to the market he promised to put inter lock to outside of the toilet. The association appealed to the DC to make his promise true by constructing it.
The transfer which was placed near market building was in unsafe condition. Regarding to this the administrative should discuss with the mescom officers and take further action.
Near the market a new bus stand was constructed but that is not used by the peoples. The bus stands are used for banners and hoardings which covers the market completely. So the officials take proper action towards this the association demands.
