Mangalore, Nov 18: The valedictory function of two day convention of Jamiat Ahle Hadees Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts was held on Sunday at Nehru Maidan in Mangalore.
Speaking on the occasion, Shaikh Asgar Ali Imam Mehdi, the general secretary of Markazi Jamiat Ahle Hadith Hind said, Quran is best guidance for the humankind. If a man fails to take benefit from the divine book, which has remained in its purest form since its revelation, it is his height of foolishness, he added.
He also released the English and Kannada transcript of the translation of the meanings of the Quran in Urdu by Maulana Muhammad Junagarhi published by Jamiat Ahle Hadees Karnataka-Goa.
Husain Salafi formally launched the campaign ‘religion is protection’ on the same occasion.
Salafi scholars Shaikh Muhammad Azharuddin, Shaikh Zubair Madani the president of Jamiate Ahle Hadees Karnataka Goa, chief secretary Aslam Khan, assistant secretary Munavvar Ali, Abdul Latheef Madani , Muhammed Yusuf, Athif Husainwere present among others.
