Udupi; Nov 18 : The three accused in Manipal gang rape case have been produced in district court for more inquiry. They have been brought to court to set a trial date for the next witness inquiry after charging the specific case.
Mangalore based lawyer Purushothaman Poojary will be pleading on behalf of main three accused Yogesh, Ananda and Hariprasad. On 20.06.2013, Manipal University 22 year’s old medical student was kidnapped and gang raped by auto drivers in desolate region. Exactly after one week of the crime, police could able to succeed in arresting the accused.
On Nov 18, Monday along with three accused, two other accused in destroying the evidence have been brought from Shimoga jail and produced in Udupi district court.
