Mangalore, Nov 23: Journalist Mohan Suvarna (37) passed away in a private hospital here on Friday November 22 night following a brief illness.
Suvarna, a resident of Panjimogaru was working as a news reader for V4 News Channel. He had earlier served Namma Kudla and Spandana channel.
He had also worked for Mungaru, Netravati Varthe and Mumbai’s Karnataka Malla newspapers. Also a promising poet, he had brought out two anthologies of poem.
He has left behind his mother, brother and sister.
MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, former MLA Vijayakumar Shetty and corporator Dayananda Shetty paid their last respects to the departed soul.
The DK District Working Journalists’ Union and Mangalore Press Club have condoled the death of Mohan Suvarna.
