Udupi; Nov 23: Speaking in the “Dialogue on types of theaters” programme organized jointly by Rangabhoomi Udupi and Kannada and cultural department, Bangalore on Nov 23, Saturday in new Ravindra Mantap, Basuma kodagu said in his address that it is a tragedy that now stage drama can be directed by anybody.
He further said that without studying minimum of global level discipline, only by combining scenes elder’s study and researches are mere waste. If theater discipline is learn’t more, theatre can have some frame work, said Basuma Kodagu.
B.V.Karantha is on the top position in making use of regional theatre types, Parsi and folk. B.V.Karantha used to prepare dramas with his bright imaginations. For Bharatanatya, there should be logic and similarly in theatre also there should be discipline. Where from we have to start the interpretation of modernity? Stability of modernity how strong? After inaugurating, while speaking Udyavara Madhavaacharya said in his speech that under cultures, drama was born for the first time. In order to evolve ourselves, we need to study more about theater, he added.
