Sullia, Nov. 29: Deviprasad (26), a part time worker at MESCOM, Sullia, sustained burns and severe injuries as he was electrocuted while on duty Thursday, November 28.
The incident took place while he was operating on an electric pole opposite Damini Motors situated at Sullia Junior College Road.
Despite informing the department to stop power supply prior to him climbing the pole, Deviprasad getting electrocuted is shocking. Investigations will soon be held, informed officials.
It is learnt that Deviprasad’s condition is critical.
